About Us

Our journey all started during the 2020 lockdowns- where we couldn’t do much, but we could get backyard chickens! It turns out, despite both being town dwellers for most of our adult lives, we had the same dream - chickens, homegrown fruit and veg, and of course, a hound (or two) to wander the fields with.

Fast forward to 2021 and we moved to our countryside base. We kept adding chickens (losing a few to foxes along the way) and two dogs to our family.

Since then, we’ve kept Kune Kune pigs, hatched our own baby chicks several times, grown various delicious crops from seed and are about to launch into beekeeping!
